Watching Out for One Another

We come to the part of the story where the rich, ruling class of Israel is taking advantage of the poor, working class in their efforts to rebuild Jerusalem's walls and gates. Nehemiah became "very angry when [he] heard their outcry" (v.6) and led the people to forgive all debts, both loans and tresspasses, and to reconcile with their neighbors.
