Why is the House of God Forsaken?

In this final sermon from the series on Nehemiah: Reconnecting God's People to God's Purpose, we look at another topic of continuous reformation or discipleship (semper reformanda), and that's our stewardship of God's provisions. We express worship and faith in God through giving out of our firstfruits - rather than out of what's left over - because it demonstrates we are trusting God to keep on providing all that we need. The Lord blesses with plenty those who make Him their priority - not because the want plenty, but because they want to honor the Lord.
